Method: Marinate salmon in the ingredient mix for an hour. Then, either…. Under a broiler, place the salmon on a pan in the oven about 8 inches under the broiler.  Cook for about 10 minutes without turning.  Remove from oven and rest for a minute or two. or…. Soak a cooking plank for an hour (do this while the salmon is marinating).  Fire up your gas grill and then when hot back the heat off to a low setting.  Place just the plank on the grill and close up the lid for three minutes.  Then flip the plank and place the salmon on it.  Close the lid again for about 12 minutes (grills vary and so do salmon sizes).  Remove the salmon from the plank and let it rest for a minute or two.
Ingredients: (for two portions)
2 medium sized salmon fillets (remember to check for little bones) ¼ cup lower sodium soy sauce 2 tablespoons of whiskey or bourbon 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce
